The engine
See full engine specsThis 109bhp, 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol is fine if you don't tend to travel with your car loaded up and mainly potter around town. It'll tackle motorways, too, but you need to rev it out and drop gears more often than you would with the more powerful 35 TFSI, which isn't that much pricier or less efficient. The 30 TFSI will officially average more than the 50mpg and crack 0-62mph in 10.6sec.
