The model
Read full Vauxhall Grandland reviewThe Grandland is competitively priced in most trims, and is well equipped and spacious enough for most families. However, it's hard to ignore the fractionally cheaper Skoda Karoq or more practical Kia Sportage – both of which have nicer interiors and are sharper to drive. Company car drivers who are in the market for a family SUV will find the hybrid Grandland models cost-effective.
The trim
See full equipmentOur favourite trim sits in the middle of the range and strikes a good balance between equipment levels and cost. On top of the basics afforded by the entry-level Design trim, GS adds luxuries including the larger and upgraded infotainment system, a 12in digital instrument cluster, a rear-view camera and advanced park assist.
The engine
See full engine specsThis is the only petrol engine available for the Grandland, with 128bhp and 170lb ft of torque. That’s enough for a 0-60mph time of 10.4sec and a top speed of 122mph. There’s also an automatic gearbox available, which is 0.1sec quicker to 60mph.
